Brand design for Bumblebee, a tea and flower shop opening in Lake Oswego in Fall 2022. Bumblebee provides a space to relax and replenish. They offer a variety of teas, a breakfast and lunch menu, beautiful flower arrangements, and private dining a few nights a week.

Elegant, Delicate, Whimsical, Traditional
The primary logo features a delicate hand-drawn logomark, an elegant and traditional script, and a sans serif tagline. The logomark features a sprig of lavender and jasmine, which represent both the flowers and tea offered by Bumblebee.
The palette is influenced by the colors found among nature: the sky, the petals and buds of flowers, the leaves and stems of plants and herbs. These colors help the brand to feel calming and inviting.
For the main heading, I selected a traditional and approachable serif font. Secondary headings and paragraph text use a clean, simple sans serif font.
I drew a series of illustrations to be used throughout the brand. The organic, hand-drawn elements consist of flowers, leaves, and a bee. I also arranged these illustrations into a seamless pattern that can be used on packaging, marketing collateral, and wallpaper within the cafe.
