custom illustration

I worked with Quail & Condor to compile a list of baked goods and seasonal fruit that would appear in the illustration. I started out with a rough sketch to get an idea of the layout. I then illustrated each element using my iPad Pro and arranged them until I found a layout that worked. Some of our revisions included simplifying the objects (like removing some of the berries), swapping the pie for a cup of coffee, and selecting a color combination that felt right.
